1. A Brief History Of the Suzuki Boulevard C90

In 1998, Suzuki unveiled the VL 1500 Intruder LC, a touring cruiser motorcycle that would later become the Boulevard. It was powered by the same air-cooled, 45-degree V-Twin engine as the Boulevard, but it was carbureted at the time. The newly released engine produced 67 horsepower at 4,800 rpm and 114 Nm at 2,300 rpm. Despite the bike's overall weight of 644 lbs, the power-to-weight ratio was suitable for individuals with a free spirit.

The final drive and gearbox are identical to units used for the vehicles of today. The front brake was connected with a single 300 mm disc. The Intruder, although being a "Legendary Classic" according to its manufacturer, looked more like a Marauder. In the late 1990s, Suzuki used vivid dual-tone color schemes. At the turn of the century, the company became more serious about their color choices.

In 2002, the VL 1500 Intruder LC received an upgrade with a twin-disc brake at the front. As a result, the Intruder's braking performance was no longer in question. In 2004, the bike again was updated with a four-way emergency flasher and high beam passing switch, multi-reflector turn signals, hydraulic valve lash adjusters, hydraulic clutch, and back-torque regulator for pleasant downshifting. This was the last year it was manufactured under the name of the VL1500 Intruder LC.

In 2005, Suzuki debuted a completely new cruiser with a new name: the Boulevard C90, and a corresponding touring model: the Boulevard C90T. The company improved the torque and acceleration by adding a GSX-R-derived electronic fuel system with a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve System and Auto Fast Idle System. Best of all, the Suzuki composite electrochemical material guarantees the engine has a longer lifespan. This engine outputs 66 horsepower at 4,800 rpm and 115 Nm at 2,800 rpm. Suzuki still utilizes this formula and only changes color schemes and other styling cues as the year's pass.

The Suzuki Boulevard C90 is powered by a 1462 cc four-stroke, air-cooled V-twin engine. This bike has evolved technologically, but it still looks like the same cruiser that debuted in 1998 as the Intruder. It is long, low, and gigantic despite not being the largest in the lineup, but the C109R’s characteristics are there. From its massive front wheel, headlight, handlebars, thick fork, 3.7-gallon tank, and two-into-two slash-cut exhaust system.

Soon afterward, the C90 inspired the creation of its bigger cousin, the C109R. This bike featured custom-styled aluminum wheels and a roomy and yet low seat (27.6 in) for a very long time ago.
