The Return of Royal Enfield’s BTR Program for 2024

Royal Enfield has announced the return of its popular Build. Train. Race (BTR) program for the fifth time for 2024 road racing series of the Progressive American Flat Track National Championships and MotoAmerica. In the new chapter of the BTR program, Royal Enfield continues to invite female racers with diverse and varying degrees of racing skills into the North American racing circuit. In addition, female racers will also avail the happening chance to tour the United States and ride exciting custom Royal Enfield bikes in races that they will make race-ready themselves over the course of this program.

In the BTR program, race aspirants will be mentored through the entire process of transforming a production Royal Enfield motorcycle into a custom, fast, track-ready two-wheeler. Racers will race the following 650 cc Royal Enfield motorcycles:

• Royal Enfield Interceptor
• Royal Enfield Continental GT

Moreover, female track aspirants will get an opportunity to learn racecraft and related techniques that will prove to be extremely useful throughout their professional careers. Participating in a national racing championship is just an added bonus of this auspicious occasion.

The 2024 Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race chapter will include four road races, which will start from 19th of May in Birmingham, Alabama. Some races are organized on 2nd June in Wisconsin. It is also reported that “Fast Freddie” Spencer, the renowned and highly-revered Motorsports Hall of Famer and three-time Grand Prix World Champion, will train the contestants of the 2024 program. It is also revealed that the 2024 BTR road racing management has extended a chance to 13 racers, out of which, five motorcyclists will make a come-back due to their remarkable performances at the 2023 BTR chapter. The prominent stars of 2023 include Mikayla Moore, who emerged a road racing champion in the 2023 BTR Championship.

The 2024 Royal Enfield BTR Flat Track Racing event is expected to commence in the first week of March – 7th and 8th to be exact – in Daytona Beach, Florida. The event will continue as audiences will observe more races expected to take place on 27th of April in Fort Worth, Texas. Other track competitions of the 2024 chapter will be held on 11th of May in Ventura, California, while Rapid City, South Dakota will get its own event on 6th August. The date and location of one extra exciting event will be declared subsequently.

The name Johnny Lewis has also been unveiled as the trainer of all the contestants hankering for success at the 2024 RE BTR Flat Track chapter. No one can possibly be more up to task than the legendary flat track and supermoto prodigy.

This year, the BTR Flat Track segment will promote 10 highly-skilled female racers, including the following trio of racers from the last years’ event:

• Morgan Piller
