There is great news for all the American women motocross (MX) racers, the all-women MX racing event is back in 2024 and the schedule has been announced as well. To all the biker ladies out there who love to participate in the MX racing and have excellent dirt bike riding skills, they must gear up for the event. The 2024 Women’s Pro Motocross Championship is a great opportunity for female MX riders to showcase their talent and abilities. Women riders are not only restricted to roads, they have also shown great potential in motocross riding and therefore, must be promoted.
Starting from March 4, 2024, the event will kick off at the Daytona International Speedway, as part of the Daytona Bike Week. American Motorcycle Association (AMA), in collaboration with Pro Motocross and MX Sports, has come forward to announce the 8-round racing schedule of the 2024 Women’s Pro MX Championship. The racing event includes female motocross racers participating in the 125-250 cc category races.
The Director of MX Sports, Tim Cotter, has shared his views regarding the event in the following words:
“With the growing number of female athletes participating in the AMA Amateur Motocross events, we feel that it is time to bring back professional women’s racing.”
“Together with the AMA, America’s Premier Motocross organizers, and key members of the women’s racing community, we have developed a schedule that will showcase the best women athletes in the world at some of America’s top amateur events.
“We look forward to seeing the best female athletes compete against one another to see who will be crowned the 2024 WMX Champion.”
