When I bought my 2023 Scout Bobber from a third party, the bike came with the Viking right side Pony bag already installed. I loved the bag but regularly found it to be too small for my needs. I elected to spring for these SpiritBlade bags, and I could not be more pleased. They offer great storage space and still maintain a retro look and feel. I did not want the bags to take away the rugged look of the bike. In fact, I think these bags actually add to the look. They are built very well. The leather is thick, and the construction is solid. I love the fact that I can lock them as well.
All parts were provided including some additional washers designed to be inserted inside the bags before the endcap nuts that some other reviews suggested were missing. Make sure you look inside one of the inner pouches, as Viking put a small plastic bag there with these additional washers. They were not with the rest of the mounting gear. In general, mounting these was simple. You do need to print the mounting instructions from the Viking website, as instructions are not included in the package. Viking, I would include these instructions in your packaging in the future. It would be a simple step that would save your customers some time.
Overall, I'm super pleased with the bag quality and the overall experience with Viking. I'd definitely buy from Viking again based upon this experience.
Nice bag that looks great! Really enjoy being able to lock my items. Could utilize a bit more space near the suspension. l was a bit disappointed that they called it leather, as it seems fully synthetic. However, it’s still good valve for the cost. l use the one bag for daily commutes. The second one will be added for overnight trips. So far no issues.
Easy to install, perfect fitment, just the right size for the bobber, and having storage on hand all the time is such a game changer. Highly recommend.
Viking Bags told me there was no way to mount these to a softail slim. After months of looking around for bags I decided to order them anyways. I used one of the original holes and drilled one new one in each bag. I made a quick support bracket from aluminum and on they went. They look great with the bobber style and fit well to the bike. I think Viking should modify some of these at the shop and sell them to harley guys.
Excellent quality, super easy to install. Just one bag is Big enough for my leather jacket, gloves and personal stuff.
I will definitely buy more accessories for my bike from Vikings.
I was hesitant to get bags because I thought it would change the look of the bike but these bags go so well with my Scout. I got the pair so I can fit my jacket and hat on one side and tools and snacks on the other one. I can't wait to take the bike out on longer rides this Spring. The installation was super easy. The brackets and bolts all arrived wrapped up so no damage to the bags. It comes with 2 keys. I really like them and I highly recommend them.
I loved at begin i was thing was so big but im worong fit perfect and keep the motorcycle more elegant and easy to install take me about 15 min to do thanks viking i loved that

I wish the bags were just a little bit deeper so I can fit my half helmet in one, but they’re just just too small. I can’t close the top. And I’m gonna need to modify the saddle bag on the right side as I don’t think the upper hole or both holes were put in the right position because it is on a slight angle and you can see it in the picture.
I like the looks and the quality of these bags. I also like the locking ability. They fit well and don't interfere with the riders legs, and were easy to install.

Washers are too big, end caps too small. Bolts need to be stainless steel. I have larger caps off old bag and smaller washers.
I researched the bags and look at many good reviews. I ordered the bags and received them within a week. They were packed securely and in perfect shape. Came with all the hardware to put them on my Indian. Bags fit perfect and held more than I thought they would. I have had many compliments regarding the bags. I would highly recommend.
