The VikingBags Phantom Indian Scout large painted motorcycle hard saddlebags are made from reinforced fiberglass which is weather resistant and provides a tight fit with a streamline styling that lows with the lines of the fender. This model is painted but we also offer this in a leather wrap version. Part of our Indian Scout hard bag series, these bags are key lockable so you don't have to worry about your belongings being stolen when you are away from your bike. The Scout bags are lined and have a weather seal that will keep the elements out in case you are suddenly caught in a storm. The main compartment includes a detachable sunglasses pouch and a detachable 3 pocket organizer that can be easily attached using Velcro strips lined in the bag.

Phantom for Indian Scout

Put them on a 2017 Indian Scout. I used the fat brackets to mount which required drilling holes in the back of each bag. They do sit tilted slightly in and there is no way to adjust that. Mount the bag above the belt guard first in order to get them even. Mounted as low as possible they sit higher than the fender which I don‚Äôt like but I will add a rear seat to fill that space and be more esthetic. I was disappointed to see they are made in Pakistan so the quality is not as good as if they were made here. Paint is not even and consistent as some spots are a bit faded but a few coats of good polish will fix. All in all satisfied with the purchase.
