The updated locks were a big improvement over my old bags. Feels much more secure when parked.
The reflective markers are subtle during the day but noticeable at night.

My 09 Fatboy, replaced old semi rigid detachable bags with these Viking bags, used a custom quick detach setup. Look great and accent the rear fender nicely
Install was pretty easy. I did add the Quick Disconnect system. Looks great, and I love that I can take them off when just hoping around town and want the bike to look more stock. Can't wait to get on a long haul and put these bags to use.
Kind of a pain to mark the holes for accurate drilling. Other than that, good fit, and looks great.
I like the bags but they are a pain to install to many options and very poor instructions I am a good mechanic and I installed ok but a novice would struggle.

Very happy with my new bags, the quality and workmanship are worthy of my bike. The Viking logo on the exterior hinge...meh....its raw cast metal. Why not chrome? Or powder coated black?
