The bags are great. The hardware coming with for free is awesome. But the 3° spacers that are included are worthless. I installed them and they just bent, a solid wedge would be much more effective and stronger. Also I had to remove my chain gard and even with the "3°" spacer the left bag still contacts the swing arm. I'm going to try a 4° wedge. Overall I love the bags and I would recommend.

I recently received the Baldur xl bags, and they came with the wrong hinge on one bag, not matching as a set. I took some pictures and sent the information to Customer Service, and after a phone call, I was instructed to send the bags back. A return authorization form was sent to me immediately, and I dropped the bags off at UPS the next day. I was instructed to place a new order to expedite delivery of replacement bags. I agreed and the order was placed. Two days later I received my replacement bags and they were the correct order with excellent fit and finish. Viking customer service representative was kind, understanding and efficient during this process. The bags were slightly challenging to install on my 99 Fatboy, as there is minimal finger room between my rear tire and fender to attach the hardware. Also, the bolts had to be cut to prevent contact with the rear tire. If I had this to do again, I would buy a quick detach bracket. Otherwise, the bags once installed look amazing. Structural integrity is excellent and the bags are well supported. The latch mechanisms and locks work as designed and are a nice feature. One interior zipper pouch was not finished at the stop end and when I unzipped the zipper it jumped off the track. This was minor, and something I will correct myself. I would highly recommend the baldur bags, they look amazing on my bike. Looking forward to many days of use and highway miles to come.
