I recently had an accident on my motorcycle and these saddle bags got put through a pretty serious real-world test. I ended up flipping and rolling roughly 10 feet across the pavement, and I fully expected the bags to be damaged beyond use. They held up extremely well. The bags stayed intact and everything inside was protected. There were no dents or structural damage anywhere on the bags. The only damage was the material on the outside scraping off from hitting the pavement. Considering the force and distance involved in the crash, I’m honestly impressed with how well they held up. They did exactly what I needed them to do: They stay attached, protect my belongings, and take the damage themselves. I bought these for the storage and appearance, but after seeing how they performed in an actual accident, I have a lot more confidence in them. I’d definitely recommend these to other riders. They’ve been legitimately crash tested, and the bags held up. I’d also be interested in getting a replacement set since the current ones took the damage in the accident. I’d be happy to continue using them and recommending them based on my experience.
