I got these mainly because I do a lot of weekend rides and was tired of trying to squeeze everything into smaller bags. The 60L storage is a lot of room. I can pack clothes, boots, rain gear and a few tools without playing Tetris every time I leave the house. They sit close to the bike and don’t look as oversized as I expected. The quick-mount setup is also nice when I want to take the bag off after a trip.
The quick mount is what made me choose these over a few other options. I don’t always ride with luggage, so being able to pull the lever and take them off is a big deal for me.
These have been great for my longer rides. Plenty of space and I really like being able to lock the quick-disconnect system when I’m away from the bike.
I commute on my Low Rider S during the week and take longer rides whenever I get the chance. What I like about these is I don’t have to choose what to bring anymore. Helmet gear, extra clothes, tools and lunch all fit without cramming everything in. They also fit close to the fender and I didn’t have to relocate the turn signals. For the way I use my bike, these are easily among the Best Harley Low Rider S saddlebags I’ve tried.
I was worried 60L bags might look bulky, but these actually fit the bike really well. The leather and Cordura feel good, and being expandable makes them even more useful when I need extra room.
I went back and forth on which bags to get for my FXLRS, mostly because I wanted storage without making the bike look awkward. These ended up being a good fit for what I had in mind. They sit tight against the bike, there’s an absurd amount of room inside. After using them for a while, I’d put them in the running for the Best Low Rider S saddlebags for riders who actually need a lot of storage.
