Marking a great development for those who are connected to motorcycle racing in America, Sean Dylan Kelly is making a comeback at the AMA MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. Sean Kelly is stepping up his game and advancing to race at the event in the 1,000 cc category. In this domestic supersports racing event, Sean will be seen in action representing the TopPro BMW squad as announced by the team owner, Alex Arango.
While showing his heartfelt gratitude and emotions on being signed by the TopPro BMW, Sean Kelly stated:

I can’t thank team owners Alex Arango and Agustin Sierra enough for this opportunity and I’m excited for the first test aboard my BMW M 1000 RR Superbike.”
For Alex Arango, signing Sean Kelly and bringing him back to the AMA MotoAmerica Supersports racing is a great step toward promoting the Supersports racing in America. Arango is optimistic about Sean’s successful comeback at the domestic racing event. The decision to take him in the TopPro BMW squad is considered the right step to take the team to the top position. We interviewed numerous riders to find the best fit for our team which we believe will see us achieve our best results for the 2024 season. Securing Sean Dylan Kelly was a priority as we feel he can be very competitive with the BMW package we will be providing. He’s motivated and ready to stand on the box again in the MotoAmerica series.”
“We are eager to get on track with the entire team as we have a lot of work still to do to prepare over the next few months. In addition to being the co-owner of the TopPro BMW squad, Alex Arango also represents his team as a motorcycle racer. He is also considered one of the best in the business when it comes to superbike racing. The signing of the MotoAmerica star racer, Sean Dylan Kelly, is just the beginning, as more renowned names in the AMA supersports racing are expected to join the team soon.
The 2024 AMA MotoAmerica Sports Racing Championship is expected to start in March, next year, and the preparation and testing will also commence in January.
Sean Dylan Kelly’s Motorcycle Racing Career at a Glance
After his remarkably successful sports racing debut in 2019, Sean Kelly has won several championships at both local and international platforms. Talking about his AMA MotoAmerica Supersport racing career, he secured the title in 2021 for the M4 Ecstar Suzuki team.
After taking a break from the AMA MotoAmerica Supersports Championship to participate in international sports racing platforms such as the Moto2 World Championship, Grand Prix racing, and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Sean Kelly never failed to demonstrate his flair for motorbike racing.
Talking about the AMA MotoAmerica Championship career, Sean Kelly finished in 4th spot in his first appearance at the 2019 event. He further advanced to the 2nd place at the podium, trailing only a few points behind the winner of the 2020 season, Richie Escalante.

Sean Kelly returned to the AMA MotoAmerica supersports racing in 2021, equipped with highly advanced skills, techniques, and an aim to surpass every opponent on the race track. After winning the 2021 MotoAmerica Championship title, he took a break from the local sports racing events to make a name in the Moto2 World Championship.
