Honda, which is known to bring change to the bike business, is set to mark a new chapter in the bike world. This time, it is not a CBR, CRF, or a Rebel model; it is the Honda Pokemon Bike inspired by the Pokemon character.
You heard it right! Honda has joined hands with the Pokemon company to make a concept bike that looks like a real Pokemon figure from the Pokemon Scarlet Game, known as the Honda Karaidon.
1. Honda Koraidon - The Pokemon Motorcycle Project

The Honda Koraidon Project is not a normal bike; it is a Pokemon bike. There is no one who doesn’t know what the Pokemon is. It is a huge brand of unreal figures. The joint effort between Pokomen and the bike world is something very odd.
As of now, Honda says that the Koraidon, also known as the Pokemon motorcycle, is not intended for road use. It is a concept bike that may take on roads in the future.
1.1 About to Be Displayed Soon
The Honda Koraidon, the Pokemon Motorbike, will be shown on March 7-March 9, 2025, at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan.
2. Honda’s Pokemon Bike Features Self-Balancing Tech From Asimo Robot
As of now, this Honda Pokemon Bike may not be made for street use, but the maker has successfully tested its self-balancing tech in the Honda Koraidon. This self-balancing feature is among Honda’s top tech equipment, previously installed in the Honda’s Asimo Robot. This self-balancing robot stole the light at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2017.
3. The Unique Pokemon-Inspired Bike Design

Honda claims that the Honda Koraidon, the Pokemon Bike, will self-balance itself on two wheels. However, the strange part is that this Pokemon motorbike will have four legs. Using a command, one can make this Pokemon-inspired bike rise and stand on its two wheels without any outside help.
Alongside, the Pokemon bike’s hands, face, neck, and legs will also move to mimic the movement of the Pokemon figure. Honda wants to make it look real.
3.1 Meet the Honda Koraidon - Honda’s Pokemon Motorbike
The video of the Honda Koraidon, a.k.a. The Pokemon Bike by Honda, tells us that this bike is not intended for use. However, Honda also claims it is fully rideable and running.
4. Toyota Miraidon Vs Honda Koraidon: The Clash of Pokemon Bikes
Toyota Miraidon

This is not the first time a major automobile firm has attempted to build a Pokemon-inspired bike. Previously, Toyota built the Miraidon Motorcycle, which is a Pokemon Bike. However, the Toyota Miraidon mimics the popular figure from the Pokemon Game called Miraodon. For those who don’t know, Koraidon is Miraodon's biggest rival in the Pokemon Games.
The launch of the Honda Koraidon Pokemon Bike looks like the start of friendly conflict between Honda and Toyota motorcycles.
5. Honda’s Pokemon Bike Is a Serious Project
To some serious bike users, the Honda Koraidon, also known as the Pokemon Bike, may not be a serious project by the Japanese bike maker. Nonetheless, Honda has invested a lot in this Pokemon Bike.
Something serious is coming out of the Honda factory. Around 40 expert staff members and builders are involved in this Pokemon concept bike project. It took the firm over half a year to mimic the giant 8 ft 2’’ tall Pokemon figure from the Pokemon Scarlet Game. It's not the same size, but Honda has tried to make a bike that looks and feels something closer to that size while weighing around 668 lbs.
6. To Attract Kids and Younger People to Honda

Rather than aiming to target serious and experienced motorbike buyers, the Honda Koraidon (Pokemon Bike) is to attract tech lovers and kids. This is something that can introduce the kids and the young people to Honda.
