2023 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Campground Passes Guide

The 83rd Sturgis Motorcycle Rally will start on August 4 and last until August 13. Registration is now open and can be done via the official Sturgis Motorcycle Rally website. The basic registration package is free; for more details, click here.

If you ride a motorcycle or enjoy events and gatherings that involve stunning motorcycles loaded with custom parts, riding, and avid riders, then you don’t want to miss the 2023 Sturgis Rally.

Besides registration, you will also need to purchase an admission pass to the campgrounds where the bike shows, concerts, parties, and other activities will be held. The most popular campground that holds the best parties and the largest music festival during the Sturgis Rally is Buffalo Chip Campground or the “Original Campground.” To be able to join the “Best Party Anywhere,” you need to purchase a Buffalo Chip Campground pass. It will also work as your ticket to events that will be held at this venue. Depending on the type of pass, it will have a different time of validity, pricing, and amenities. 1. 2023 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally - Early Arrival Passes

The main Sturgis event will start on August 4, but motorcycle enthusiasts can begin enjoying the festivities starting from July 31. However, to be able to enjoy the concerts and events, you will need to purchase campground admission passes along with early arrival passes. For details, check below.

Early arrival passes are additional passes that allow you to take advantage of the Camp Eazy Management’s services, including setting up your tent, removing it, cleaning the campsite, hauling your motorcycle or trailer, etc. Moreover, early arrival pass holders get first pick of the best campsites. Management will also provide you camping gear. You only need to pack clothes and other basic essentials you might need, which also means you need not carry extra luggage in your motorcycle saddlebags. A motorcycle backpack or a sissy bar bag can carry all of your belongings. There are seven types of early arrival packages. The sale of these passes is currently live and will end on August 13. The essential utilities all riders should consider spending on include showers and portalets.

Provided at campsites, RV sites, EZ Camp locations, and cabins. The portalets are cleaned and set up by sanitation before you arrive at the campground and will be cleaned daily with any additional charges. All portable toilets are lockable.

Portalets and showers are the best way to maintain your hygiene at a campground. There is less risk of contracting a disease or infection than visiting a public washroom and shower.
