nstalled both the 44L Lamellar bags and a rear turn signal relocation kit — and it completely leveled up the bike.
The relocation kit fits clean, wiring was straightforward, and it keeps the rear end tight and aggressive. No clutter, no weird angles.
The bags are solid. 44L is real usable space for tools, gear, and weekend rides. Hard mount means no wobble, locks feel secure, and they sit proportional to the Street Bob without looking bulky.
If you actually ride and don’t just park it, this combo is worth it.
I believe this is about the same as the kit that’s available from Harley for less than half the price. Watch a YouTube video first and get comfortable with the process. It is a lot of work for what it is but ultimately I was able to get it done. It looks great. The saddle bags are mounted. Satisfied customer.
The mounting and wiring process was pretty straightforward. I did use the .pdf mounting instructions for the bags and relocation process, which seemed to make things go a little smoother.
This is the kit linked from the 2017 and older breakout on the website. Although it's not a direct fit, I made it fit. It's a shame no one makes a kit for those bikes, but it works and looks good.
