My last set of saddlebags were just not cutting it anymore. I didn’t want to worry about something going through my bags when I am away from the bike. So I decided to adapter the Quick Disconnect System to my 2022 Honda Fury. With a Highway Hawk saddlebag adapter, I was able to make it work. It is very stubborn to put on and off the docking posts but it is getting easier the more I do it. The building materials are super strong and the key mechanism is super smooth. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting additional security for their saddlebags.
The bags take some work getting to slide on but I'm hoping they will loosen up some after time. They look absolutely amazing. I love the pre installed metal latch inside each bag works perfectly for my ccw holster. I was afraid I was going to have to drill holes on the outside of the bag and have another custom holster made. Thank you for thinking about that.
The disconnect bracket seems to not be correct. There's no docking post included in the package. I got into a live chat twice & tried to find out what I needed to do. I thought I discovered where the docking post were on the bracket, according to the CSR on live chat, but this seems to not be the case. I looked at the photo posted on your web site of a Valkyrie bracket & what I have is not what is shown. Plus the lock doesn't seem to work. So I'll be returning the quick disconnect system. I even looked at the you tube video sponsored by Viking bags & the guy in the video clearly had docking post. And other you tube video's showing a Valkyrie with quick connects had docking post being installed on the long bolt that is attached to the motorcycle frame. I can't discover where the docking post are. I was told they were on the bracket & to remove them to attach them to the bike frame. The install instructions are useless. Maybe I've been sent the wrong quick connect. This is way too much trouble.

I used this quick connect system on my 36L Lamellar Raven bags, sku25501. The notes say they won't work with shock cutout bags but they do.

glad to see they finally came out with a quick release that adapts to the Valkyrie and works on the 44l extra large Viking bags quit easy to install and with the large size mounting plate for the bags with 5 support screws solid as a rock and unlocks with a little nudging to be expected all in all great buy!
I love these. They turned out really well. I put them on a 2024 Honda rebel 500 with a set of 36L - Lamellar Raven Extra Large Honda Rebel 500 Shock Cut-out Painted Motorcycle Hard Saddlebags they said it would not fit, but it did absolutely love them
