The VikingBags Phantom Kawasaki Vulcan S VN650 large leather-wrapped motorcycle hard saddlebags are weather-resistant and provides a tight fit with a streamline styling that lows with the lines of the fender. This model is leather wrapped but we also offer this in a painted version. Part of our Kawasaki S hard bag series, these bags are key lockable so you don't have to worry about your belongings being stolen when you are away from your bike. The Vulcan S bags are lined and have a weather seal that will keep the elements out in case you are suddenly caught in a storm. The main compartment includes a detachable sunglasses pouch and a detachable organizer that can be easily attached using Velcro strips lined in the bag.

Measure 3 times, drill and install! I had troubles on my bike for whatever reason despite my bike being brand new going back to dealer along the way which delayed my installation process as i customized my bike prior and even after installation of the bags. Despite removing the bags a few times along in this process the bolts held up to my abuse and the installation hardware was very easy to figure out which made every thing easy. After real world intense riding and commuting to work the past few months i can say these bags have exceeded my expectations along with my bike still feels snappy on the canyon passes without adding too much weight. Bike looks fast standing still with these Phantom bags and i worth every penny.
Love the Saddle Bags! Installation wasn't too bad, was a bit scary drilling into brand new bags but everything went together like a champ. Just make sure you have a second person while you are getting the exact mounting location and drill points marked and make sure bracket location on bags work before drilling! The bags are very sturdy and well made, and look terrific!
I am in love with my Viking bags!!! I was apprehensive at first, because I love the lines of my bike. After my first ride with Viking bags, there's no way I'd ever have a bike without them!! Installing them was a lil more involved than I anticipated. With the help of my friend, we nailed it! My bike is sexier than ever and now I can haul my gear ♡
Cool and beautiful bags. Roomy, I can easily fit a half helmet and gloves in there. I had to make the holes myself, but I didn't expect it to be so easy. Thank you for a cool product. You are the best.
Called up a mate and we worked together to get these installed. Fairly straight forward install and only one minor hitch. Plenty of cargo capacity, perfect for going to work with lunch and a change of clothes and room to spare. This will make long trips significantly easier.
The entire process from ordering to unboxing was under a week. The bags were wrapped better than any designer bag I ever owned. The leather sunglass case and bottle opener are well made and appreciated. The bags smell like fine leather. They are soooo beautiful! I would have liked for the bags to have already been pre-mounted (*the mounts already attached to the bags).
These are my second set of bags from Viking Bags so I knew what to expect, I wasn't disappointed. Fit, finish and quality is what brought me back. Installation is a breeze
Overall the bags look good and seem very stable. The only complaint I have is with the installation instructions. The upc video and the printed instructions call for two different size drill bits for drilling mounting holes in the bags. Turns out there are two different sized bolts (front and back) on my Kawasaki Vulcan S. With two different sided bolts for the fenders. Once I figured this out I was able to continue with the installation. I just wished there had been some mention of this in either the video or the instructions. Would have saved me some time and aggregation.

The only reason not 5 stars is I had to ask for instructions. Also, One of them doesn’t stay open fully while the other one does. Ex I have to hold one of them open in order to access it while one I can leave open while accessing it.

Terrific saddlebags, lots of room & they look good on my bike. I modified the mounts with a longer spacer bar on the inside of the bag. Works well.
Watched a YouTube video on installation, it was by Viking bags. Even though the bike wasn’t the same as mine, the install was exactly the same. Takes a little skill, and is much easier with two people. Recommend doing this on a bike stand, however I would say install was pretty straight forward. Love the lights inside the bags! Totally surprised about that since there wasn’t any indication of there being LED strips for both bags. Sweet though, loving the bags
