The VikingBags Phantom Indian Chief Darkhorse large leather wrapped motorcycle hard saddlebags are made from reinforced fiberglass which is weather resistant and provides a tight fit with a streamline styling that lows with the lines of the fender. This model is leather wrapped but we also offer this in a painted version. Part of our Indian Darkhorse hard bag series, these bags are key lockable so you don't have to worry about your belongings being stolen when you are away from your bike. The Chief Darkhorse bags are lined and have a weather seal that will keep the elements out in case you are suddenly caught in a storm. The main compartment includes a detachable sunglasses pouch and a detachable 3 pocket organizer that can be easily attached using Velcro strips lined in the bag.

Bags were a little hard to put on but worth the effort

Excellent Bags by Viking!

Excellent quality bags! They came with hardware and instructions that were easy to understand. Just a personal tip - the mounting hardware can be modified to use as you like or you can follow the instructions as provided. I decided to modify the mounts to make them fit closer to my frame for a tighter looking fit, it was just my personal preference. Take your time and do it right, because it will pay off in the end!

The bags are awesome

I love the bags, they‚Äôre great. They look awesome on the bike. The instructions were a little hard to follow if you looked at the pics, could just be that I don‚Äôt have the eyes of a 20 year old anymore too I guess. But the bolts to mount everything are garbage. One was bent right out of the box, and another one broke and had to be drilled out. Not a huge deal, $3 fix was all it took to solve the issue
