It can be attached to saddlebags, sissy bars, MOLLE, or any other solid surface using the two straps that wrap around the bottle. The fuel bottle has a capacity of 50 oz and can withstand high pressure and temperature.
Used it this past weekend on a long ride. Only reason not five stars is because it needs some sort funnel that can be attached to the mouth for easy pour. Gas ended up spilling while trying to pour into my tank. Other than that, it held up great in the holster strapped to my sissy bar.
It's pretty great for what it is using this on an ftr the tank isn't big so on a longer drive it's nice to have a little reserve in case the exit is a little far!
Love everything about Viking bags and what they stand for. Everything I have gotten has always been top notch and with excellent shipping and packaging. They truly care about what they make and how they serve those that use it. Seems like a simple addition, but well worth it so far. Haven't had a chance to use it being we still have snow on the ground and a ton of salt on the road, but can't wait to put it to use.
This fuel bottle will replace one that didn't have a protective holster and sustained some gouging that I considered a vessel compromise. This new fuel bottle/holster will be stored in my Viking tail bag and I expect the holster will provide adequate protect from anything else in the tail bag.
I purchased this product right before rainy /winter season last year. Price was great and fits the purpose or reason for purchase as backup on longer trips. Have not done a long trip yet but unless it leaks it should do the trick.
Bought 2 of the 1/2 gal fuel bottles and covers. Came very quickly. I ride an old motorcycle without a gas gauge, so these coming in super handy. They connect easily to the Patriot bags I purchased a few months ago.
We'll see how this holds up and serves its purpose. Bottle feels a little low quality but haven't used it yet. Appreciate that the holster has the molle straps. For the price, it seems alright.
Great service and received the bags in good time. Good price and quality seems to be good as well, looks exactly like the Thrashing bags, but for much less. Have not installed them yet.
