I’m not a fan of huge saddlebags, so this size works much better for me. The MOLLE webbing is useful when I want to attach an extra pouch, and the 18L storage is more than enough for my usual rides. I’d rank these pretty high among the Best Rebel 500 saddlebags I’ve seen.
First ride with these was better than expected. I tossed in my shirt, gloves, and a few personal things, and still had room left. They don’t give the Rebel that oversized touring-bike look either.
What surprised me was how much I could actually fit in these. I packed rain gear, gloves, a small tool kit, and some snacks for a day ride. There was still some space left. For the way I ride, these deserve a spot among the Best Honda Rebel 500 saddlebags.
My wife keeps joking that I finally have somewhere to put my stuff besides my jacket pockets. The little detachable organizer is perfect for my wallet and keys, while the main space handles everything else.
I bought these because my pockets were getting ridiculous. Now my phone, wallet, and keys have their own place, and I can carry the rest of my riding gear separately. Simple setup, useful size, no unnecessary bulk.
These Viking saddlebags are a good fit for this bike - my photos don't do them justice! I did struggle to fit them though, which might be par for the course with throw over luggage.
Expected them to be a bit bigger, but they fit nice on my rebel 500
So far besides my helmet my favorite purchase to have when riding . Love the easy install and the freedom for my pockets and no more backpacks! Also price is sublime!!
