Mounted them on my bike over the weekend. Hardware felt sturdy and lined up better than expected.
Great for, look good and love that they are lockable.
These bags are huge. Rain gear, tools, gloves, even groceries fit without cramming stuff in.
Locks feel way more solid now. Left the bike parked downtown twice already and had zero worries.
The painted finish matches the bike nicely and doesn’t look cheap at all. Gives the rear a cleaner look.
Bags exceeded my expectation, they were exactly as pictured and described mounted easy and really makes the bike look different. Great product great company. Great customer service will definitely do business with Viking bags again.
In my experience, installing it was easy and fun. The material where you install the bracket makes it look ugly. I changed it for a 1/4 x 11" x 11' aluminum plate and it looks better, it doesn't vibrate. I removed that bracket and put a small 1" x 7" plate on the left side so that the box doesn't hit the tube that is near the band. By the way, it has a small screw that you install very carefully with your bracket. If you have questions, write me, I can help you, thank you.
Best bang for the buck, ever. I snapped up a pair of the Lamellar Stallion X-Large for my 22’ FXLRS during Vikings flash sale right before Christmas. I feel like I stole em for the price I paid. I hard mounted these because I’ve just never really taken my quick disconnect bags off my wide glide and it’s a bit safer from theft imo. The bags are f’n awesome! Huge and roomy. Seal is water tight the leather wrap is tight and smooth. Fiberglass shells are heavy thick and solid! Quality. Lock is secure as you can get. I can put my road tool kit, riding leather jacket and chaps, heavy plad shirt in ONE bag with room to spare. Can easily get a weeks worth of gear in these bags. Install is idiot proof. Ya need a drill, bits, locktite and a crescent wrench, set of allens . Tape measure and a friend will help but not necessary. I just used a few boxes to set the bag on to get it close then used a Jack to raise the bike up till I had er where I wanted er. Mark, drill, mount. 30 minutes, done. Piece of cake.
Bags and new brackets to relocate the turn signal lights to the rear looked fantastic relocating. The lights is easy just gotta get to the wires. But the bags are fixed bags you have to drew holes and make sure you line them up correctly always a pain but bags are very good quality

Amazing fit on my 2021 FXLRS model. I thought it would look bulky but it fits right in with the curves of the bike and I'm amazed at how much room there is inside! Perfect balance of style and function.

Beautiful design, ample storage, very high quality. I’d definitely purchase again. Just be aware getting an integrated signal/tail light combo is best to eliminate the rear signals.
Looks great a bit of a pain to instal by yourself also some of the hardware was off center so it made the instal more difficult when drilling. And also the latch on one of the bags seemed very loose and clanked a lot after final instal. Other then the small issues they look awesome
