Just came in today, a little too hot this afternoon to install but looking forward to getting them mounted. Beautiful bags, was considering going with a painted hard bag but very happy with these. Considerably bigger than the originals that it came with. You can’t go wrong with these. I would say definitely get an extra pair of hands to get the bags mounted in the proper position. Hope this helps you make your decision. Keep on keeping on and keep that throttle wide open!
The bags were super easy to install! Mine didn't come with predrilled holes which made lining up the bags with my bike's frame holes a bit of a challenge. However, I found some YouTube videos from other Viking customers that made the installation a breeze. I've added additional reflectors on the back for more visibility. I'm happy I chose Viking bags!

Cleaned up a 2008 Vulcan classic lt. -bags look great and seem quality -mounting was not easy, bolts are not as good as OEM bolts, in regard to how they mount bag to fender. -bag does not come with reflectors, as shown on website - paper directions says 2" from exhaust; their video says 1.5" But nice bags. Happy w purchase.
Very easy to install on the OEM brackets, didn’t even have to use the ones that came with it, and I love these bags. This is the second set I’ve put on a bike……

Install is NOT 15 minutes. Installation would be TONS easier if the mounting brackets were attached to the bike first then attach the bags. Trying to hold the bag, brackets, and align the mounting holes in the fender is not as easy asit sounds or looks. The bags are beautiful on the bike and work as they should. I would recommend and buy again.

High quality, lots of room, secure and looks great. Installation a bit more than tricky, however. I was asked for make, model and year of my bike, which I assume meant they were custom fit. They are not custom fit. They are universal fit. A template, even made of paper, would have been really nice and useful. It would have cut away down on the guesswork involved in the installation of these bags.
If your even a little off it will show after you drilled holes,doesn't open all the way.,looks good and bigger than factory,it's still cheaper with my labor included than the factory.
Happy with this product. Can’t speak to the quality of the mounting hardware (I’ve heard mixed things) since I just used the hardware from the stock bags. They look nice, locks work, and they shipped fast and were well-packaged. I wish the latch was a little smaller to fit things a little better but the bags are so big it’s not much of an issue. I am very happy with my purchase.
Excellent bags, but the installation instructions are worthless. The hardware that was included was ok but still had to make a couple of trips to the hardware store
You can't go wrong - full Lamelar (Fiberglass) hard bags, with functional locks and robust hardware - it's a no brainer. I chose the leather covered version and they do not disappoint! Good looks, smooth lines and easy to drill and mount (Viking brackets are universal; you need to position and drill out your bags to fit - a lot easier than it sounds).

Great bags, good stitching and really strong materials. Like the opening catches, like the Harley style, so you don't have to lock the bags everytime.
