The Viking Lamellar Stallion Honda Valkyrie 1500 Standard Extra Large painted motorcycle hard saddlebags are our newest update to our popular Lamellar hard bags line. It includes improved security and locking feature with matching keys for both bags for added security when you leave your bike in the parking lot. We have updated the metal mountings and bolts to improve safety and durability of our Honda 1500 Standard hard bags. The bag comes with tighter weather seal to keep water out when you ride in the rain. The inside premium foam liner inside the bag will eliminate rattling from your lose items when you are riding in high speed. The advance hinge won't catch on the Valkyrie 1500 Standard saddlebag content or pinch your gear, more peace of mind for you. The reflective side markers on the side of each saddlebag will increase your visibility, we know as a biker, being seen at night is more important than anything else.

Honda 1500 Valkyrie Standard Viking Lamellar Slanted Painted Motorcycle Hard Saddlebags

The bags themselves are great! The mounting hardware, not so much. The supplied mounting hardware worked, but the saddle bags still had a lot of side to side movement/play to them; especially at the bottom. I ended up making mounting plates out of aluminum, bolted them to the bike, then bolted the bags to the plates using 3 bolts. I also made a bracket connecting the rear of the bags to the license plate holder. The bags have much less movement now and feel sturdy. I give the bags themselves a 5 star rating though!
