The Viking bags themselves are phenomenal. The instructions are clear cut and like another rewivewer wrote, my issue was with mounting on my bike and NOT with the bags at all. I, thankfully, had the original mount which fit perfectly with the Viking Bags. Bottom line, you will have NO issue with these bags, they look absolutely outstanding and the quality is fantastic. I will also add that customer service is top notch. I highly recommend this company and their product. - Dominick Izzo

The bags themselves are great! The mounting hardware, not so much. The supplied mounting hardware worked, but the saddle bags still had a lot of side to side movement/play to them; especially at the bottom. I ended up making mounting plates out of aluminum, bolted them to the bike, then bolted the bags to the plates using 3 bolts. I also made a bracket connecting the rear of the bags to the license plate holder. The bags have much less movement now and feel sturdy. I give the bags themselves a 5 star rating though!
