40L - Lamellar Raven Extra Large Painted Motorcycle Hard Saddlebags for Harley Softail Standard FXST/I

I received these bags on the Sunday (I was shocked) after I ordered them, which was less than a week from the order date. That was with no special shipping of any kind. When I opened the box I found two the the best looking saddlebags I have seen in years. The paint was perfect and the precaution taken to make sure I received in the same condition that they left the factory was excellent. I would highly recommend these bags.

These saddlebags are very high quality in fit and finish. Very robust in construction but I have to hold back one star for the failed attempt at the turn signal relocation kit provided with them. It mounts on the license plate bracket which is not designed to accommodate the extra weight of the lights and the lights mounted at approximately a 15° upward cant resulting in an unacceptable look. With the bike running they flopped around badly. As advertised,
the kit was provided but is an unacceptable, very poor attempt at relocation. For another $100, I ultimately installed the relocation kit from Harley Davidson which mounts to the bike frame. If I were to rate the relocation kit and saddlebags individually, it would go 1 star to the kit and 5 stars to the bags themselves thus the overall 4 star rating.
