Made from 100% ballistic nylon, the Viking Explorer Handlebar Bag is designed for smaller trail bikes but fits larger adventure bikes as well. The bag can be installed with ease with the two provided straps. The back of the bag has slits so you can strap it to different bike sizes. This is the perfect bag to carry small items like keys, wallets, snacks, and sunglasses. The bag is very lightweight weighing less than 0.5 lbs and has a carrying capacity of 61 cubic inches. The bag has two pockets, the front zippered pocket that is easy to access, and the main pocket where we added two mesh pockets with velcro to help you organize things better. To keep your phone or GPS charging on the go, we added a small cable pass-through port, to keep your electronics going. The bag's lid closes with velcro, rest assured your items are safe during the ride. For rougher terrain, we added two compression straps on the sides to tighten the bag down for travel. This Viking Explorer Handlebar Bag is an aesthetic addition as well as a companion for your adventure rides.

I haven’t ridden with the bags yet but the installation went fairly well. I’m not a fan of the blind nuts chosen for attaching the side holsters. They’re not the correct depth for the material thickness. I’m sure they’ll be secure, just seems like a better fastener could be used. Another strange thing is the material of the dry bags is a lot stiffer than expected. Maybe it makes them more durable. The sizing is good for my needs and strapping/buckles are good quality. Overall pleased and can’t wait til my first trip.

Transitioning from a Wunderlund handlebar bag to the viking bag. The Viking bag is a little smaller (which is what I was looking for). The area I would like to see improvement on is that the bottom of the bag and velcro straps are not supported enough to keep the bag from falling either forward or backwards on the handlebar. I changed out and added an additional velcro strap to give it better stability.
