I love the product & your service has been tremendous. I’m disappointed in the total cost, however. The conversion into Canadian dollars was $516, PLUS, I had to pay a tariff of $213 to receive the product. All told, it cost me $729 for the trunk (a tad pricey for my liking). Had I known there would be close to a 50% tariff, I would have forgone the purchase & looked for something domestic. Super pleased with the product…
Excellent product well made. Shipping was quick and packaging was very good. I can recommend Viking for all their products. They are well known for their quality. Looks great on my 2024 HD Heritage Softail Classic.
Bought and installed for the backrest. Fits a fullface helmet with room to spare for magnetic tank bag and gloves.

Installation instructions not 100% accurate. If you have saddle bags on your bike you only need to replace 1/2 of the front grommet. Mounting bolts are way too big. They can be 1/2-3/4in shorter and knock the diameter down 2 sizes. So I had to purchase new mounting bolts, nuts and washers. Other than that it installed fairly easy.
Sturdy, easy to do a custom install, superb to have a matching family of products...that look great, too!

This is an awesome trunk for my bike. It fits a full face helmet and a few other things well. Fit and finish are great. Looks perfect with my Viking bags.
Fits really well on the back of my SV650. Mounted with 3 points instead of 4 because of my luggage rack, but I haven't had any stability issues at all with the trunk. I never carry passengers, but the added backrest works great for stretching out on the bike at a pit stop. And the amount of storage space for the size of the trunk is just ridiculously good. My only complaint, which I hope to be able to upgrade later, is the locking mechanism. The whole hook and loop lock does its job well enough but it usually takes me a few tries to get it locked and I always check it after to make sure. Ideally I would've preferred that clicks into place like a seatbelt buckle or a car trunk that I could lock afterwards.

I was looking for extra storage for my Heritage. Harley's was twice the price. Viking bags is almost a perfect match. Fairly simple to mount. Looks awesome.
The only reason for the one star deduction is that the lid rattles even when locked. I was able to make it quiet and snug by adding a couple inches of fuel line sliced to go over the bottom lip on either side of the latch

The trunk is perfect on my Indian Chieftain. Easy to install. Came with a metal plate that wasn’t shown on any of the install directions. Had no idea what to do with it. Better instructions would be nice.
I was doing research on what kind of motorcycle trunk I could mount on my 2004 Honda VTX 1300S because I like the old school look of the bike but there was not a lot of choices out there that would match the theme that I want my bike to have, luckily the used bike came with a pair of Viking saddle bags so I checked your website and I’m glad I did because after I checked for trunks I came across the challenger trunk and I loved the way it looks because it matches the stitching on my Saddlemen Renegade seat plus this trunk looks good with the rest of my bike. The trunk is made with quality in mind, made out of fiber glass wrapped with Viking leather, very spacious not to mention lockable which means you can lock almost all of your gear and it’s secure. It’s an AWESOME product! My next Viking product to get are the Trianon (no studs) lockable XL saddlebags I only they make them with shock cutouts for my 2004 vtx… More power to your company & keep making quality products :+1:
The trunk is good quality and well constructed. My only thought is that it’s hard to find the center of the trunk as the measurements on each side are uneven. It would be helpful to have a center line to measure from. I’m the end it looks great and it’s appears to be centered!
