Trunk is of very good quality and very sturdy. If you by an actual Harley tour pack rack for a softail model you will need to get new hardware. Had to get 1/4 wide bolts to fit through the slots of harley’s tour pack rack. The hardware the viking bag comes with is heavy duty but just to big. Also the bracing brackets would not line up with the holes on rack. I just cut them and put individual one on each bolt

This was the perfect replacement for me because my Harley OEM Softail Deluxe one got damaged during transporting, and they don't make them anymore. It didn't take much to make it fit on my Harley detachable rack/hardware. I didn't want to permanently attach it to my bike, so I was glad I had the Harley detachable stuff to make it work. Great quality and I like the way the weighted lid stays down while riding without requiring locking, but also still having the locking option available. Great product and great customer service!

Tour pack was nice, the only improvement I think that needs to be done is the ability to close and open without a key. Seems like a small improvement and just surprised it was not done as it seems a no brainer.

I'm impressed with the finish and substantial construction. The only concern is the lock might need adjustment as I must press down on the lid for the lock to catch. I'm quite happy that I have a trunk to store my new helmet.

So far I really like my new trunk. The fiberglass structure is definitely more rigid than my other Harley one, that I had to reinforce the bottom and rebuild the rear because the plastic cracked. And it cost less!

It was well protected in the box when it was delivered. Installation was relatively easy. I bought an actual mount for it , and did not use the luggage rack on the bike.

The hard bag came quicker than expected. Upon opening the box, the hard bag was wrapped in a nice thick cover and bubble wrap. The bag itself is very sturdy, and great looking. The quality seems top notch. It came with the keys for the lock and all the hardware. I have yet to install it due to the weather but I feel it will be a great addition to my 2007 FLSTN.
