Waiting on 2 bolts that Josh is sending-the 50 mm bolts are too short for the rear position on my 2024 Shadow Aero. UPDATE: 70 mm bolts came today. cut rearmost bolt to 60 mm and perfect fit.

Saddlebags were requested from the dealer as purchase package for new 2024 Honda Aero VT 750 CSR. Dealer unable to supply bags, purchaser found and purchased yours, dealer was able to mount them even with a luggage rack sharing same mounting bolts. Result was beyond satisfactory. Thoroughly pleased.

I gave the whole process 4 stars. The bags are great and work just fine but the installation lost a star for me. First, I was sent the wrong size bolts to mount the bags. It took time and frustration to figure out these bolts would not work. After finally figuring this out, Viking sent new longer bolts to me, but not until I sent the first incorrect bolts back to them, delaying this a bit further. Even with new longer bolts, the bags would not mount with just the bolts. I did a few measurements and realized that adding a nut to the front mount and two nuts to the back allowed the racks to be mounted as shown. This mounting also kept the bags parallel to the bike, rather than canting inward toward the rear, which is a look I prefer for these bags on my bike. Perhaps Viking could check this workaround in-house, and if acceptable to their engineering, send the customer ordering these (i.e., for a 2024 Honda Shadow Aero) the bolts and nuts to mount the bags as I did?

I love these bags. Look great and easy install. A couple of gripes is that the hardware is shipped separately which nobody tells you, and the instructions could be done a little bit better. Last gripe is that they don’t offer a painted version. Aside from that I love being able to go places and not have to have a backpack. My bike is a 2024 honda shadow aero abs

Bags are great! Customer service was phenomenal! The original received bags had an issue with one of the locks. They quickly processed the return and got the new bags out to me extremely fast! I was nervous because there are a lot of bad reviews out there on various forums and social media reviews about customer service and receiving replacements. Thank you for proving all of those wrong!

I RECENTLY PUT ON THESE BAGS AND I LOVE THEM. I THE ONLY THING I HAD TO SAY THAT IS NEGITIVE IS THAT THEY WERE SHIPPED WITH HARLEY MOUINTING BARS. I HAD TRO PULL THE BARS OFF MY OLD BAGS TOP MOUNT THEM. I RECENTLY GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT WHERE I DUMPED MY BIKE AND THE ONLY REASON MY BIKE IS NOT BROKEN IS THESE BAGS. THE BAGS AND MY FOOT PEGS AND THE BAGS TOOK ALL THE FORCVE AND KEPT MY BIKE FROM SCRAPING THE GROUND.

Your product is well made, but as for quick mount, that is another story. It took me hours to mount because the holes were not lining up. And because of the sissy bar/rack I had previously installed, the bolts you sent were not long enough. That should have been addressed by the initial sales rep. So I had to hunt down bolts that were the same count and pitch. Also, I wish the bags sat a little closer into the frame.

Bags are fantastic, and im absolutely in love. However, i was sent the wrong bolts and needed the bags functioning urgently, so had to go to screwfix to get some longer bolts. Other than that they're great
