I wanted something that would look like it belonged on the Street Bob instead of sticking way out from the sides. The Pantheon bags fit that requirement really well. They sit close to the fender and give the bike a cleaner profile than I expected from a 28L bag. After getting them mounted, the whole setup looked balanced and purposeful. The leather finish is another nice touch and gives the bike a more finished appearance. I've had them on for regular rides and the bags have stayed firm without changing shape. I spend a fair amount of time stopping at different places during rides, so having both the lid and mounting system lockable gives me some extra peace of mind. I don't have to constantly think about whether someone can open the bags or remove them from the bike while I'm inside somewhere.
The one-click mounting is extremely convenient. When I don't need the bags, I can pull the drawstring and have them off the bike in no time. Much less hassle than dealing with permanent brackets every time.
I usually hate getting into motorcycle accessories that require a bunch of extra parts before you can even start the installation. That wasn't the case here. The hardware came with the bags, which saved me from trying to figure out what would work with my bike. The mounting process went smoothly and the bags ended up sitting exactly where I wanted them. I also like that the quick-mount bracket can be locked in place. It makes the whole setup feel more secure when I leave the bike parked somewhere. For a medium-size saddlebag, these hold a surprising amount. I can carry my everyday riding gear and still have room left over. The separate organizer is useful for keeping the little things from bouncing around with everything else.
The box had some noticeable damage when it arrived, but thankfully everything inside was packed well and the saddlebags themselves were completely fine.
They look really good on my FXBB; easy install. It did not fit with my sissy bar, so they are sending me bigger screws. I wish I could have ordered a bigger size. But I am happy with my purchase.
The install was simple. Solid bags, hoping the right side bag is durable to the Basani pipe exhaust. The old cheap set melted but was also closer to exhaust gases. The seem relatively solid when mounted but not rock solid. Attribute that to the quick disconnect system that seems to have a little play, the quick detach lanyard on the back side of the bag really has no good storage point. So we just hung it inside the edge of the bag and closed the lid, not ideal but it works. Overall they look good, and feel solid, lots of micro storage but prob not going to hold a set of leathers and definitely not a helmet, not even a skull cap.
Ordered a pair. Came fast and they look great. More room than I initially thought and very easy to install. Works with most sissy bars for those wondering including Richie bars.
The bags themselves are awesome. I had shopped around a few shops locally and these bags are sturdier than anything else I looked at. They look great, they work great.
