This is an awesome fairing kit. It’s the best deal out there, considering it comes with everything you need to mount and install. I sanded and paint matched it to my barracuda silver low rider s. The install was pretty easy, and instructions were decent. You can watch YouTube videos of other brands’ installation process because it’s pretty much the same. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Customer service was very helpful through the process of ordering and installing. Viking bags is a great company.
Fairing quality is what I would expect for $700. It is extremely sturdy however, and have zero concerns about its strength. Love the interior being painted as opposed to the OEM finish. My biggest gripe is the fitment between the inner and outer Fairing. They do not line up perfectly, and it creates some really loud chatter at about 3-3.5k RPMs. Even my Bassani Road Rage (de-packed) cant mask the sound. I intend to fix this with rubber trim and dynamat.
At 6'2 the windscreen blocks tons of wind.
Overall a really great product. Completely changed my bike.
My husband and his friend were able to install the fairing within a couple of hours without any issues. It was great to receive all the necessary components needed to complete the installation.
Our friend actually mentioned that this Viking fairing is much better quality than the one he currently has on his bike, and he is now looking to get a new one for himself.
I'm honestly impressed on the quality of this fairing. It's made very well and really sturdy. I personally like the color of the windscreen that comes with the fairing. It's a pretty easy install, takes a couple of hours once you figure out the directions. The package came wrapped really well and very protected. I had to contact customer service about something and they were excellent to deal with. All around very satisfied and impressed with everything.
