I like them, but

I was able to install these bags and I didn't even look at the enclosed instructions...I watched the install video and was able to figure it out on my own with no help....helpful hint use cardboard boxes or maybe a couple small jack stands to prop it where you want it. Install the brackets with bolts to strut so you get a better marking spot for drilling hole on bag and to see how many spacers you may need. I thought I didn't need spacers and installed them without....then noticed the swingarm would hit bag, so I added spacers. I had to get new bolts because they were too long without spacers and I cut them.....then needed longer ones for the spacers. Don't be a fool like me and do this...wait till really done and than cut them down if they look like they could rub tire....luckily, I found some better stainless steel bolts at work...so all is good. I really like the bags and better because I spent almost $500 for them, but if I could do it again...Id go with the all leather traditional bags for $250 or so. The one thing that I don't really like is you need a key to open it all the time.....wish it had a push button open and optional locking with the key. The mounting hardware is really good quality and easy to install. The quality and craftmanship of the bags is exceptional.
