Iron Born Blade 25" Sissy Bar with Foldable Luggage Rack for Harley Sportster Forty Eight Chrome

Bought this for a 2016 Harley Forty-Eight. The construction is sturdy and the functionality is great, but I have a few small gripes. It didn't come with any sort of padding or gasket to put between where it mounts to the bike. In the event I need to take off the bar, I don't want the paint being all scratched up. I had to make my own. The addition of the thin cloth gaskets caused fitment issues. The legs had to be spread a tad to get it to mount which caused the shelf holes to be misaligned when closed. I had to loosen the shelf mounts and play around to get it to close and ltach properly. Lastly, the two front bolts didn't come with nuts. No biggy except the thread pitch for the ones I had to reuse didn't match the new bolts. All in all, I caused the fitment problems by adding the gasket material so can't really fault you guys there. However, I don't think it should be paint to paint contact either. The nut problem could have been the previous owner of my bike changing them but regardless, adding two nuts to the kit would be an inexpensive way to avoid this issue.
