Tips for new Motorcycle Riders

Motorcycling is related with something that needs in depth training and practice. You will learn things daily when you pass through this experience. As an expert of motorcycling I wrote this article for those guys who are new riders or they are searching for their first bike.

First, think on “You” as a rider:

It is always better for a new rider to take out training from an expert rider. Always wear your riding gears like helmet and that should be perfectly fitted. Always prefer that helmet that fits your melon perfectly. You may ask any professional for this. Some costly helmets have a lot of features that attracts you to buy that helmet but keep in mind that your helmet should be perfectly fitted and lighten in weigh.

Use always biker gloves that are specially designed to encounter any UN-happy situation like an accident. There are some features that the perfect motorcycle glove should consist:

  • Goatskin leather palm
  • Molded vented knuckle protector
  • Foam padding around the wrist and thumb
  • Perforated leather between fingers
  • Molded wrist guard
  • Pre-curved fingers
  • Texturized Clarino® on palm and fingers for increased grip

More you have to wear motorcycle chaps, jackets or vest according to the weather. Mostly pants and chaps are made of buffalo leather that provides an added protection while riding on a road. You can search any local or an online store for these all products.

What these all will do to you? Motorcycle gear and apparel are specially designed for riders and have wide custom options. These gears and chaps provide protection to the rider and keep the rider comfortable as well. Another psychological factor is “ when your make yourself ready for it you will be more confident in it.”

Second, think “What” you will ride?

Most of motorcycle experts advised on low weigh bikes. Because in training level you are not ready to hold a heavy weight bike. And also it is necessary to overcome the injuries if the rider under training drops on a road. If you are getting train on heavy weight bike you should have some safety precautions.

Another thing that should be considered is to get an old/used bike rather than buying a new one. Because there are many chances for falling off during your training session so, your new bike may be destroyed.

In the last I’ll say: You should be mentally and physically prepared first, be confident, define you limits and don’t pass through them, try to stop maximum rather than keep the throttle consistent, select the low traffic location for practice, and keep practice, practice and practice.
