Install was a breeze, the videos supplied on YouTube plus others' videos helped out a ton. I haven't moved my tail lights yet, but I may in the future. I had some soft limp bags the previous owner had on there that did not lock and would rub on the rotor from time to time, these harder bags solved that issue, plus being lockable is a huge plus. Definitely worth the time and effort installing these.
Didn't like the turn signal relocation kit, the way the wires are just exposed isn't nice looking but the saddle bags and the tool bag are really, really nice and well worth the price (which is much more reasonable then Harley Davidson bags). I did have to hit the hardware store for a bunch of washers for the turn signal relocation kit, it should have had some spacers. My saddle bags had some straps and some kind of "throw over" velcro flaps that I had to remove and they already had some collared holes. The only bad thing was the instructions, they didn't match my bags at all but it was easy enough to figure out.
I purchased these for my 2000 fatboy and love them. I got lucky because I have after market smaller rear turn signals and didn’t have to use the marker relocation kit
Love the looks of the bags. They don’t fully open once installed due to passenger seat.
I bought these bags for my 05 fatboy and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them and the fact all the hardware including the turn signal relocation kit was included. I didn’t have to buy anything to hardmount these to my bike. Totally awesome
