Wish they had the same bag in a larger size, but the ones I bought are great and look good on my bike.

1st of all, it appears this is not an Indian Chief item...... but an item that can be modified to fit an Indian Chief. When I first received the bags I thought I ordered the wrong item, because they were the "throw over" style. After exchanging e-mails with Viking I was informed I had to remove them, which was easily done. Next, the instructions for mounting them with the included hardware was not very clear at all. There are not existing mounting holes in this bag you can use to mount it to your bike if you want the bags to look right on your bike. I ending up drilling 4 new holes. Lucking I had the correct drill size to do that. Trying to ensure you are drilling the holes so the bags match and are level is a bit of a challenge. I wish they provided a template. After allot of measuring and time, I did get them on, and they look good. 5 stars for the product........ - 5 stars for the poor installation instructions and lack of template.

Overall, I'd buy again.

Bike looks great but I wished order bigger size. Wish website would give you the item with the size at the same picture too, too many saddlebags to choose from if you don’t go in the settings to request just for Extra large sizes it will give you tons to choose from Which that’s what I did do and fell for it. Saddlebags looks a little small but can I do. Wish I could exchange for big ones. Since I already made holes, I know you cannot return exchange them
