Motorcycle Fairings for Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic

The original version where all other Yamaha V-Star 1100s come from, the Classic is suited for beginners since its shorter length and low height makes it easier and safer for riders to maneuver on the road. Though not as large compared to its siblings, the Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic, XVS11A is capable of reaching high speeds and traveling the same distance as them.

If you feel confident that you can handle the full power of this Yamaha V-Star model, then you may need to add on some extra equipment to ensure better safety when on the road. This page will give you an overview of the features and design of the Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic, XVS11A fairings.

Features & Design of Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic, XVS11A Fairings

V-Star 1100 Classic fairings are fabricated with a glossy black rounded, concave shell with a large opening in the center, steel clamps attached to the back, and a windshield fitted at the top. The circular hole is designed to be fitted around a 5 ¾-inch headlight. The steel clamps help attach the fairings to a fork between 35 to 49 mm in size. The windshield extends the height of the Yamaha XVS11A fairings, providing shade for your eyes from the sun and keeping wind, rain, or debris from smacking your face.

A notable feature of V-Star 1100 Classic fairings is the ABS plastic outer shell that helps protect the chassis from damage. Though the steel clamps are usually enough to keep the Yamaha XVS11A fairings in place, you are given a universal bracket kit and an installation guide to help you to further fasten them in place.
