The quality of the bags seem as good if not better then the stock bags on the wifes bike, installation wasn't hard at all, did need to run out and get longer bolts, had a mishap with the bike tipping over with all the weight on one of the bags, bag held up fine with just a little tear on the inside at one of the mounting bolts, installed two large washer seem fine.

Dynamite for VT750C2

I just installed the Dynamite bags on my '08 Shadow VT750C2. I'm impressed with the bags. They are large enough to be useful, but small enough to fit on a smaller framed bike. The quality of the product is great. Clean lines, sturdy construction, and included hardware make this product a bargain. I did find it necessary to deviate from the installation instructions a bit, but it turned out well. I would suggest making this an all day project to ensure that installation is done right, especially if deviation is necessary.

For the Shadow, I also moved the turn signals to the license plate utilizing the Viking relocation kit. I'm not sure that it was necessary on the VT750C2, as there seems to be plenty of room if the bags are installed over the shock. I wanted them to sit toward the rear of the bike in order to match the curve of the fender. This left a 3-4" gap between the bike and the bags when viewed aft looking forward. I also have the luggage rack on the bike which added to the gap. It's not unsightly. Leaving the turn signals in the stock position could possibly alleviate the gap. These bags look great on this bike.

New bags for Yamaha v-star 1100

Just installed these on my 2007 v-star 1100, fit perfect no need to move turn signal. Directions were easy to follow, making a template out of cardboard was simplest way to positon on bike, size is perfect. The only negative was the hardware supplied was too short to fit on bottom of bracket and go through bag, had to go to hardware store, bolts needed antoher 1/4 " length.

I bought these bags last week; they are a very nice quality, maybe even better than the Harley Davidson brand. The mounting kit is nice but I had to tweak it with my bench grinder and a little black touch up spray paint. The mounting bolts that came with the kit is for metric motorcycles, my '07 Fatboy needed four 3/8"-16 x 2-1/2" mounting bolts. I made a cardboard template but only after I mounted and dismounted the first side. I did have to buy the turn signal relocation kit at my local Harley Davidson dealer for $90.00. But after installing them, I like them very much. I am very happy with these bags. I wish there was a way to show you photos but I can't figure out how to attach them to this review.
