Charger Braided Saddlebags

Need bags asap for last min trip and was recommended to go to vikingbags.com by a co-worker. I wanted something different and ran into item vk005. Bags are great! They are super cool! The detail work on the bags is perfect, it was just what i was looking for. However, I was disappointed with the cost for overnight shipping.. tooooooo damn expensive!

The bags look great. I had to relocate the turn signals. I modified the reflector housing around my license plate light to do this. At first I just draped the bags over the rear fender. I didn't care for the way they were hanging, and it was very difficult to get the seat back on, as the strap was in the way if the seat mounting bolts. A couple days later I decided to fix mount the bags. Not too hard to do, and it looks a lot better. It does leave two grommeted holes on the top edge of the back the bag where the strap attached to the bags. Also, I had to buy longer bolts to mount to the fender, these bags are a great value.

the bags look great, i had to wait a couple of weeks longer to recieve them since they were on back order. either way, much cheaper than what you would pay at a dealership. i also had to get longer bolts (3.25in) to attach them permanently onto my v-star 650 but it was easy installation. very pleased
