My husband was more than thrilled with his Christmas gift!

Nice look, well made, missing hardware.

I just installed them on my 09 last week. I put quick release on my '14 Fat Bob but never take them off so didn't bother with that. I did it by myself, pretty simple actually. The only issues I had were that the support brackets were not designed to accommodate my quick release back rest, so they stuck out too far and looked like wings ;-). The other issue was the hardware kit didn't come with 3/8-16 bolts so I had to get some.
With the quick release backrest I trimmed down the viking supplied mounting brackets to be more flush and used 3/8-16x 2.5" bolts. Any longer and they would be a bit too close to the 200 rear tire for my liking.
It's a close fit and the forward mounting hole needs to be drilled close to the shock cut out, but they do fit, are well made and look great.
