They were just as I imagined after reading the reviews. It took me bending the metal a bit to fit, then drilling the holes. They fit and worked just like I had hoped. Other than the fact that I had to buy longer screws and bend the metal they are great. The screws are 8mm and 2 1/4'' long if you buy these.

Needed some storage for my first ride, a 2002 Warrior. Price and quality of the bags are great and they fit the style of the bike well. They would have gotten 5 stars but for a few inconveniences that delayed their installation. First, while they came with the 2 small screws that mount the brackets to the bags, they did not come with longer 8mm screws to attach the bags to the bike. Granted, if a quick release system is being used they probably wouldn't work but hard mount screws would be nice to have. The bigger issue I had was with the mounting brackets. As these are model specific bags I would have expected the brackets to be a much better fit to both the bike and the bags. The ctr-to-ctr distance on the 8mm screws was different and the bends were not mirror images of each other even though the ctr-to-ctr distances on the bike are the same (about 135mm). After some time with a propane torch and bench vise I successfully tweeked the brackets as needed, primed and repainted them and all is good. The last issue I had was with the tail lights. I do not know if the previous owner changed them out or not, so I won't say this is failure of the bags, but they needed to be moved as they interfered with the bags by about 3/4".

These saddlebags are great. I have been having trouble finding a good bag that fits the high exhaust and unique profile of the Roadstar Warrior. Most other bags just seemed like they did not belong. But these bags actually go with the contour of the fender and blend right in. I would recommend these bags to those who are seeking the convienience of having luggage without killing the look of the bike.

Also, I used the detachable Easy bracket system. This makes taking the bags on and off great. I am very happy with the entire system. My pics are on the website if you want to see my bike with the bags on it.......
