Quarter Circle SaddleBags

My newly acquired 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic does not have a great deal of rear strut room, so I was concerned about ordering bags that might not fit.

However, the fitment chart indicated that the Quarter Circle SaddleBags required 12". My bike had 12" inches available and the bags required 12" exactly. It took a tiny bit of gerry rigging to get the bags to work in conjunction with a new sissybar and Mustang seat, but they are now securely attached and look great!

I wish they had more room, but this is more a limitation of the bike than a fault of the bags. I don't believe that any larger bags would cleanly fit.

I also purchased the matching Cruise Sissy Bar Bag. Again, it took some creative thinking to come up with an effective way to satisfactorily secure this bag to the sissy bar (velcro strapping is just not acceptable), but the end product is excellent.


Now that they are mounted, the Quarter Circle SaddleBags & Cruise Sissy Bar Bag match beautifully, compliment the black leather Mustang seat and look like they were made for the Vulcan 800 Classic. The bags being easily lockable is an additional feature that enhances their value to me. I lock them using a set of four Master Mini-locks (1/4" wide, black & chrome, with a single key for all four locks), which is practical & attractive.

Overall, I am more than satisfied and I do not hesitate to recommend Viking Bags to other riders.
