Installation instructions for VIKING Motorcycle Luggage
Read instructions carefully before installation. If you have any questions or something is unclear, please contact us or your dealer for clarification. Make sure your motorcycle is clean and free from dirt, road grime etc. where the Nelson-Rigg luggage mounts.
Insert the plastic Roll Bag stiffener under the loop in the base of the bag. Tuck the two top edges under the “pockets” just inside of the opening.
With bag sitting on a luggage rack or passenger seat, loosen Velcro® straps. With strap passing through “D” ring, slide Roll Bag over your backrest. Pull to tighten and lay the strap back onto itself, fastening with Velcro®.
• Follow this step for CTB-100 only
Take the side straps with male buckle on one end and loop on the other and loop it around the backrest, luggage rack or secure body part.
Note:
If the Velcro® straps are not long enough to go around your backrest, please contact us for strap extensions. These will make the existing straps longer to accommodate wider and thicker backrests.
Pass the male buckle through the loop creating a noose before re-attaching to the Roll Bag. Adjust strap and tighten. The Roll Bag has its own Rain Cover for use when this bag is used alone.
Using the 4 straps with 2-male buckles connect one side to the Roll Bag, and the other to one of the female clips in the small pocket on the front and rear of the main bag.
• Only CTB-350, 600, 900 & 950
