VTX 1300C/F and 1800C/F Specific Bags With Shock Cutout/Predrilled Saddlebags

I was very pleased with the quality of these bags.They were a little challenging to install but that is to be expected with a custom add on. I had to get the longer bolts. Also I drilled different holes for the mounts to relocate them higher on the bag. This lowered the bags a couple of inches which I think looks better. There was still plenty of clearance for everything. In my opinion these were the best bags I could find for the money and I'm sure I will get years of great use out of them.

very happy with these bags have good storage room and seem to be durable i would recommend .5 in longer bolts if you have a backrest.

The bags were beautiful except that I ordered the smooth bags and as others I've seen received the studded bags. Supplied screws with the hardware are at least a quarter an inch too short. They do not reach through the fiberglass back and rubber backing. Before you drill and attach your brackets to the bag align the brackets with the attachment holes on your bike to see if they fit. The bracket on my left side bag was at least 3/4 inch wider then my holes. They are beautiful though once the install is complete.

The bags were shipped promptly, and arrived when they said they would. Overall good looking bags, perfect size for my VTX 1800. The only complaint I have is the mounting brackets. Although they do warn you you may need longer bolts, I definetly needed longer bolts. I also picked up some rubber washers & fender washers to make sure the bolts don't pull through the bags. I was able to make them work but it cost me about $10.00 in additional stainless steel bolts & washers to do so. Overall, as I said, they're good bags for the price, would recommend to my fellow riders.
