Bags are great.Nice size , looks good ,seem to be pretty good quality. Mounted on 2004 Vulcan 2000, which is a pretty big bike. They don't look too small like some do on big bikes. However do not plan to use the free hardware. I did not get any with the bags,so I called and was told they would ship it right out.Two weeks later it arrived, hardware for a Honda VTX. I called and discussed this mistake, only to be told,"It will fit just fine. I do not know who thought this up , because it is totally incorrect, and proved to me VIKING MAY KNOW ABOUT BAGS , BUT DO NOT KNOW DIDDLY ABOUT MOTORCYCLES.I mounted plastic cutting boards to the back of the bags for support and bolted them to the fender, other than costing about $20 this worked better than their cheap hardware would have anyway.

Charger Straight Bags for my Motorcycle

I just finished installing these bags on my 2009 Yamaha Raider. They are nicer than I expected...especially considering the price. I think they compare favorably with bags costing 2-3 times more. When I mentioned (on the phone) that I was interested in being able to remove the bags whenever I wanted, customer support recommended that I go Edge Brackets web site and look at their brackets. They also added that they will have their own similar brackets in the near future. I bought and used the Edge Brackets to install my bags. The only reason I didn't rate 5/5 is that they close with a quick disconnect snap behind the buckle (similar to what you see on life jackets, for example)...and at least initially they are hard to pull tight enough to easily snap together. Again, customer support says that in a short time, with continued use, that will become easier.

I bought the straight bags. I think that you get more useable space ont he straight model. I had looked at several bags and did not like the idea of the 22" bags on the 900.
shipping was great, very quick. The construction is very good for the price they can't be beat. The hard back allows the easy bracket to attach very nicely but they also came with the brackets for the bike so you do not have to spend the extra $70 bucks
