International Firefighters Association Announces First Official Participation in “Ride For Education”

The International Firefighters Motorcycle Group Association announces their first ever official participation in the upcoming Security Industry Association’s Ride for Education. The 10 th annual event will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Ride for Education” is an annually held motorcycle ride that adds to the practical and academic skill level of our country’s first responders. Income generated from the event is allotted to paramedics, firefighters and others, which they invest back on more job related education and training. Here, general public is the ultimate beneficiary of this whole training event, as the trained responders would better serve people with complete protection.

IAFF has never been an official participant in the “Ride for Education” program in all the previous editions, now when it’s a reality to happen this year, SIA looks excited about it. In particular, Don Erickson, who is CEO of SIA, has expressed strong hopes on how IAFF contribution is essential to give boost to their purpose. It’s not just about participating for increasing financial fund raising but active role of one the bravest group will leave a positive symbolic impact as well. On the financial side of the partnership, huge amount of funds are expected to be raised for people who are willing to have more developed skills and knowledge for becoming better public servants.

The ride is scheduled to take off at 9.00 am on 13 th of April, at Las Vegas Harley Davidson and from there it will route to the desert by passing through the Sin City. The participants of the ride will feel treat to see the most scintillating scenic views everywhere in the beautiful Nevada. Fire state park valley and Hoover Dam were the two major visited places in the last ride. Parties who are exempted from any sort of charge include military personnel, law enforcement officers and the firefighters. People other than mentioned can also play a part by confirming their inclusion for just $40 as a rider and $30 as a passenger which includes lunch as well.

It surely isn’t a bad deal to spend some time for a ride which gives an opportunity to view beautiful scenes and make healthy contribution to social welfare as well. Those who might get short of ride at that particular time can have one on rent from Harley Davidson for just $125, but this offer is with limited space, so don’t sit back and hurry up.
