Bags are great!
Review by Chris on Sep 29, 2011; 07:47pm CDT
Great bags! Have them on 2 bikes. My 2006 Vulcan 2000 and my wife's 2008 Vulcan 900 Classic. Look awesome and high quality. Have been on my bike for over a year and 4000 miles and still look like new. You won't be disappointed with these!

Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Specific Saddlebag

I have had these bags for a couple weeks now and they look great and stay on the bike very nicely. After having a set of Saddlemen bags with that YOLK (What a JOKE) that allot of them come with on my bike, I was on the highway riding and they just slid right off. I did not even know it till a guy in a car came up to me and yelled saddlebags fell off.. I went back and they were totally flattened by the time I could swing back around to get them... total loss and only had them about 2 months. I saw these online and after talking with one of your guys on the chat windows (even though they are very slow responding) the convinced me to get these bags. So I bit the bullet and got these bags... so far they are great...

The only problem was getting the correct mounting screws.. I noticed on Sandy Souchik's review that she used M8-1.25x60MM bolts which was 10 to 20 mm too long. I had to use M8-1.25x40MM bolts on the rear and M8-1.25x50MM bolts. I got those bolts from ACE HARDWARE which had all the sizes in stock.

So far I love them... especially since they won't slide off. HA HA HA...

You also have a place the lock them at the bottom of the latches. I thought this is a very ingenious idea.

They have a hard shell on the back that faces the bike and around the sides and bottom is also hard fiberglass. what is not stated on their page is the top and the front are soft, but that is OK since it gives it some flexibility to them. I would recommend them to anybody who gets a Kawasaki Vulcan 900, and to any one that does not want to spend $500 to $1000 for a set of bags.

Thanks Viking
Ivanho

Bags are nice and stiff, was very pleased. Easy to put on once a trip to Home Depot for four M8-1.25x60MM bolts was done, took all of 15-20 minutes. (not bad for a girl!!) Time will tell how it stands up to heat pipes. Look great on bike.
Was also shocked at how fast shipping was. Will definately recommend to others.

Great Bags - Fit Well

These are great bags that fit my '09 VN900 Custom SE like the bike was designed with the bags in mind. Love the fiberglass shell. See other bikes with drooping bags or plastic cannisters and these look much classier.

Would definitely order these again and would recommend to a friend. Have gotten several people asking where I got my bags.
