I have been riding my Honda 750C with these bags in much wet weather for over a year. No issues with water as they have the rubber lining and the stitching hasn't mossed. No rust on the buckles. These have been awesome on my bike.

These bags should last quite a while and they went on very easy with the FREE install kit. I also watched the on line video which made mounting on my 2003 Honda VF750 incredibly easy.
